Today and Pulse
Today and Pulse were cards in the column beside the chat. Since 0.2.8 your dashboard is the canvas, and the column is gone. What they showed now lives in widgets on your dashboard. Each shows only what Crew on this Mac has actually read, and never shows a made-up zero.
What Today showed
- Needs you: the Today widget ("What needs me today?") lists what is waiting for your decision, with one-tap answers. See Needs you.
- Threads: the Crew widget ("Is my crew working?") shows how many threads working, how many are waiting on you and any that are stuck.
- Next: the Versions widget ("How far along is the next version?") shows the next version and how many of its items are done, for example 3 of 8 done, with its due date when the plan has one. An item counts as done only when its work is proven. See Reading your project plan.
What Pulse showed
The Shipping widget ("Is stuff shipping?") took Pulse's place. Its headline is the number shipped to your Mac today, with a small chart of recent activity and what is still on the way. At larger sizes it adds today's merges, commits, reviews and how many threads are working, and a short Reached your Mac list. A count Crew hasn't read isn't drawn at all, rather than shown as 0. See Shipped to your Mac today.
When a reading is missing
If Crew on this Mac isn't connected, a widget says Crew on this Mac isn't answering. An old reading says as of and the time. See Live data.
While you're Presenting, widget details such as sources and names stay hidden.
