Your dashboard
The dashboard is Crew's main window: your chat in the middle, your widgets on either side, and no sidebar. It is the only layout. The old column view and the Try the new dashboard switch are gone. Your widgets came with you.
Rooms
The row at the top centre holds your rooms. Studio is always first: your Chief of Staff, with widgets across every project. Each project follows as a ring showing how close it is to its north star; the ring stays empty when that isn't known. A small dot means something there needs you.
- Click a ring to enter that room; its widgets show that project only. Hover over the row to see each room's status.
- Drag a ring to reorder the projects. + starts a new one.
- In the Navigate menu, ⌘1 (your Chief's name) opens Studio and ⌘2 onwards opens each project.
The chat
Your chat stays in the middle of every room. Click an empty part of the dashboard to type again. ⌘L (Navigate › Talk to your Chief) takes you to Studio's message box without sending anything.
- Drag the handle at the chat's edge to give it or the widgets more room.
- Focus on the Chief (in ⋮ View options, or ⇧⌘F) gives the chat the whole width. Turn it off again to bring the widgets back.
- At the top left, Conversations lists and searches every conversation. ‹ and › (⌘[ and ⌘]) step back and forward through the rooms and conversations you have viewed.
The top right
The Needs-you bell, your account, Agents (⌥⌘A, every agent side by side: see Agents mode) and ⋮ View options, which holds Focus on the Chief, Edit Widgets, Presenting and Colour, from Vivid to Calm. Edit at the far right starts editing too.
Editing
Edit opens the widget gallery beside the dashboard; Done (or Esc) ends it. See Widgets and Arrange your widgets.
Your layout is saved as you go, one layout per room. Each edit is one step of Edit › Undo (⌘Z).
