CrewReading your project plan
Your project plan shows what belongs in each version and what remains in Ideas. Crew reads the project's plan through Crew on this Mac. It won't fill an unread plan with sample work.
Versions and Ideas
Ideas are work without an assigned version. They appear first. Versions keep the order recorded in your plan, and items within each version keep their priority order: the first item comes first.
A target date is a target, not a promise that a version has shipped. An item's recorded status and the evidence that its work is complete are separate things.
Reading progress
Crew checks the available evidence before counting an item as done. A recorded Done status alone is not enough. An item without the required evidence remains not proven, and dropped items are left out of the version's progress count.
If Crew has not read the plan, or cannot read it, Crew cannot tell you its progress. An old reading is marked stale; it is not presented as a fresh update.
Where you see it
The Versions widget answers “How far along is the next version?”. It shows your next version (the first one not shipped, skipped or parked) and how many of its items are done. Only items with the evidence count as done. In a project's room it shows that project's plan; in Studio, every project's. When nothing is planned, it says Nothing planned yet. Rest the pointer on the number to see where it comes from and when it was read.
