Needs you

Needs you collects everything waiting on your answer: approvals, a thread's question, a launch step that is yours to do. It shows in three places.

Where to find it

The Needs you widget on your canvas. Small, it shows the count, such as 2 need you, or Nothing needs you. Medium, it shows the first three asks grouped by project. N more… opens the rest in a sheet.
The sheet is headed Needs you with how many are waiting. Done (Return) closes it.
The bell at the top of the canvas. It shows the count when something is waiting. Click it for a short list with Open and Later on each row. See all takes you to the widget, and Mark all done or Clear all empties the list without sending anything. Undo puts it back for a few seconds after.

Navigate › Needs You (⌃⌘4) also takes you to the widget. The same count shows in the menu bar; see Crew in the menu bar.

One card for every tap

Built, but not switched on in this version yet.

Crew 0.2.10 adds one card shape for every ask, in the widget and its sheet. Until it is switched on, each ask shows as a plain row with its answer buttons. When it is on, a card shows:

the title and its risk in words: Low risk, Some risk or High risk;
why it is asking, and a line for each thing that will happen;
who asked, how long ago, and when it expires;
one main button, the other answers beside it, Open, Give to Chief and Later.

A high-risk card asks This one is high risk. Go ahead? before it acts. Give to Chief hands the ask to your Chief of Staff, and the card then reads With your Chief. An ask marked as yours to decide says Yours to decide instead.

What it never does

An ask that has expired shows Expired. Its main button can no longer be used, and nothing is sent, even if you click just as it expires.
An answer is never sent twice.
Later, Mark all done and Clear all only tidy your list. They don't answer anything.
While you're Presenting, the bell's count still shows but the list is covered. See Approving a command and Reconnect approvals for the command cards themselves.
