CrewSavings and insights
Crew 0.2.10 adds views for money and memory: burn and runway on the Money widget, and a memory score and savings view with a monthly receipt, which appear as tabs on the Crew health widget once they're on. Each has its own switch, and some aren't switched on yet; each section says so.
Burn and runway on the Money card
Whether Money: burn and runway is on shows in Settings › Features. If that pane lists it, you can turn it on there; the change applies when Crew on this Mac next starts. If the pane says Crew on this Mac doesn't list its features yet, it isn't switched on in your version. Until it's on, the Money card doesn't show burn or runway. Once it's on, the Money card leads with your runway in months and a word such as Under a year, or Revenue covers the burn. Under it you see what goes out a month and your net a month. The large card adds Treasury, MRR and Cost per item shipped.
A figure Crew can't work out shows – and says why, for example Treasury not typed yet or No costs entered yet. A partly known figure shows a limit, such as ≥ $170. There is no place in the app to type your treasury yet.
Memory score
The memory score answers "Does Crew remember what I told it?" with one number for a scored week. Crew health gets its Memory tab only once Memory score is on in Crew on this Mac (see Feature switches); see What Crew knows. It shows in Studio, never in a project's room, and it's hidden while you're presenting.
Savings and the monthly receipt
Once it's on, the savings view compares this month's cost per shipped item with your first week on Crew: "Crew saved you" an amount this month, or what it cost more. Monthly receipt lists Shipped, Hours saved, Tokens saved and Words lost. In a project's room, a Ledger card shows that project's spend and what shipped.
The Savings view is not switched on in this version yet. If Settings › Features lists Savings meter, that is Crew on this Mac's half; turning it on alone doesn't show it.
Balance outlook and the menu-bar mark
The balance mark beside Crew's icon in the menu bar is on. It shows the Balance level as a small three-step mark, and only while Crew's reading is known and fresh: with no known reading, or one older than 30 minutes, there is no mark. The 7-day outlook strip is on too, but it belongs to the Balance card, which your canvas's widget set doesn't offer in this version, so you won't see it yet. What these cards never do
They only read Crew's own records. They never move money or ask for a bank login.
