CrewWhat Crew knows about your company
Crew is built to keep what you tell it and what it sees happen, so you don’t have to say things twice. Most of what this page describes isn’t switched on for your Mac yet; each section says so. For the live readings your Chief uses when you ask about progress, see What your Chief can see.
Memory score
Once it’s on, a Memory tab on the Crew health widget answers “Does Crew remember what I told it?” Once a week, Crew asks itself 40 fixed questions from the last 90 days of its memory and checks the answers blind. The tab shows the share it got right, such as “92% remembered, Week 40”, and how often this week you had to tell Crew something it already had. Before the first scored week it says No week scored yet.
It shows in Studio only, never in a project room, and is hidden while you present.
The score is off by default. Whether it’s on shows in Settings › Features. If that pane lists Memory score, you can turn it on there; it applies when Crew on this Mac next restarts. If the pane says Crew on this Mac doesn’t list its features yet, the score isn’t switched on in your version, and Crew health has no Memory tab.
The What Crew knows page
This page lists what Crew knows and where each line came from: something you said, something Crew saw, or something an agent inferred. Fix… corrects a line, Forget keeps your Chief from seeing it again, and Bring back undoes that. Nothing is deleted.
It is not switched on in this version yet. When it is, it appears at the bottom of Settings › Features.
Company brief
Crew can put together a brief for a new agent, hire, contractor or stand-in from its own records: what the company is and aims at, how you work, decisions, what shipped, open work and who’s who. Money is only in a stand-in’s brief, and a contractor sees only the projects you name. You ask your Chief for one; there is no button in the app. It isn’t switched on in your version yet.
Still to come
Two more readings are off by default: your Chief searching the company’s facts by source and date, and reading thread counts and token use without their text. If Settings › Features lists them, you can turn them on there; if not, they aren’t on in your version.
