Crew won’t install or open

Start with the message you see.

Crew needs a newer macOS

Crew needs macOS 26.1 or later. To check your version, choose Apple menu › About This Mac.

Opening Crew for the first time

Drag Crew into your Applications folder, then open it from there. When macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet, choose Open.

macOS says Crew is damaged or can’t be checked

If macOS says Crew is damaged, can’t be checked for malicious software, or comes from an unidentified developer, don’t open it and don’t change any security setting to get around the message. Write to support@fift.studio with a screenshot of the message and where you downloaded Crew. We’ll look into it.
