CrewVersions widget
The Versions widget answers one question: how far along is the next version? It reads your project's plan and sits beside your conversation with your Chief. A new project's page starts with one; you can also add it from Edit Widgets (see Arrange your widgets).
Read the card
The card names the next version and how many of its items are done, for example 4 of 9 done, with its target date when the plan has one. A target is a plan, not a promise that the version has shipped. An item counts as done only when Crew can see its work has landed; the plan saying so is not enough.
- Small shows the version, the count and a row of steps.
- Medium adds up to three open items, each with its owner or Unassigned.
- Large adds the last shipped version, more open items, the versions after the next one, and Ideas: work not in a version yet.
In Studio, the card looks across your projects and lists each one's next version with its count.
Assign writes a request to your Chief in its message box, asking it to give the open items owners. Nothing is sent until you send it.
When there's no number
Nothing planned yet means the plan has no upcoming version. If Crew can't read a plan for the project, the card says so instead of showing a count. An empty or unread card does not mean the project's work is finished.
