Mirror a window

Show another app's window, such as the iOS Simulator or a browser, live beside your conversation, and hand your agent a picture of it.

Start

Choose View › Mirror a Window…. macOS's own sharing picker opens and asks which window to show; Crew's own windows aren't offered. The window you pick draws live in the right column of the Crew window you asked from. Until its first picture arrives the pane says Waiting for the window….

macOS asks every time. Crew keeps no permission, and doesn't need Screen Recording in System Settings for this.

Send a frame

Send frame to agent puts the current picture in that window's composer as an attachment. Nothing leaves until you send the message. Pictures are held in memory only: Crew never saves or logs them.

Stop

Stop mirroring ends it. It also stops when you close the Crew window, or when the mirrored window goes away.

While Presenting is on, the pane shows Hidden while Presenting and draws nothing; the picture comes back when you stop presenting. The menu item isn't offered while Presenting is on.
