CrewCrew map and Fleet
Two widgets show your machines and what runs on them: Fleet for the whole Studio, and Crew map for one project. Add them from Edit Widgets like any other widget (see Arrange your widgets).
Fleet
Fleet answers one question: Which machine runs each thread? Each machine Crew knows is listed with its threads as dots, in the same colours and fills as the Crew at work card. A thread is named by its task.
- A machine Crew didn't look at says threads not observed, never zero.
- With no machines, the card says No machines in the registry.
- When Crew can't read the threads, the card says Not measured yet, with the reason.
Choose where a thread runs
When Crew on this Mac can move threads, clicking a thread's dot opens a menu:
- Run on a machine by name (Run on this Mac for this one). A checkmark shows the machine you picked.
- Let Crew choose hands the choice back to Crew.
- LEAN holds that thread's switches, such as Fresh session per task, Park when idle and Reviews in a fresh session. It says whether they are Your settings or the Founder defaults.
If Crew on this Mac runs without these, the menu says so, for example Not on yet: Crew on this Mac runs without run locations. When Crew on this Mac can't move threads at all, a dot opens no menu.
Crew map
Crew map answers: Is every part of our system up? It reads one project, so it lives in that project's room. In Studio it says No project yet until you open a room.
The card counts the parts that are up, such as 5 of 6 parts up, and lists them in groups: System, Machines, Code & services, Domains and Who works on it. A part Crew hasn't heard from is unknown and never counts as up. When Crew maps nothing for the project, the card says Crew maps nothing for this project yet.
